Sri Jinendraramaya provides remarkable social and religious services to the people in the area with the help of social organizations established in the temple.

Sri Sumana Dhamma School
   A large number of students attend the Dhamma School and it is one of the largest Sunday Schools in the area. Teachers are actively involved in providing best dhamma education to the students. Therefore, our Dhamma School is gradually reaching to the level of the best Dhamma Schools in Sri Lanka under the guidence of Venerable Bibile Dhammaloka Thero.
 
Sri Yasodara Women’s Buddhist association
   This is a voluntary women’s organization actively participating in development work in the area and the women’s right activities under the well experienced women leaders in the village.
 
Sri Samadhi Devotees Association
   This association consists of devotees who observe Sil at the Sri Jinendraramaya. They organize Sil programs, alms giving programs and meditation programs on every full moon poya day.
 
Sri Daham Sisila Young men’s Buddhist Association
   This is a Young Men’s Organization to attract youth’s active participation in religious and social works in the area.
 
Special development tasks
   A fascinating Dagaba which cost of millions of rupees was built at the temple with the donations made by charitable people of the area. This is the tallest Dagaba being built on a rock in Polonnaruwa district in the recent years. This was declared open on 21st June 2012.
 
Proposed Development plans
   1. Construction of a wall around the Bodhi tree
   2. Construction of twenty eight Buddha statues for Atavisi Buddha Puja.
   3. Reconstruction of preaching hall.
   4. Building a new Sanghavasa.
   5. Constructing a building for relics.
   6. Construction of library building.
